Jessika Zender
Hello, welcome to Gorjess Bakery! I’m Jessika, the owner and pastry chef behind Gorjess Bakery. From a young age my family taught me culinary skills and hospitality, which sparked my love for baking and creating meaningful moments to bring family and friends together. I decorated my first cake in middle school to share and quickly realized how much I loved reaching people through something as personal (and delicious) as baked goods.
After earning my Associate’s in Baking & Pastry Arts from Montgomery County Community College, I spent several years working as a cake decorator while studying business and growing Gorjess Bakery on the side. Today, I’m proud to offer gourmet cupcakes and cakes made with quality, organic ingredients—including gluten-free options for all flavors and new vegan chocolate and vanilla cake options, so more people can celebrate deliciously.
